Overview
Our Mixed Caridina Cull Pack is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to get into shrimp before committing and spending larger amounts of money of specific shrimp. These cull shrimp also referred to sometimes as a smarty or skittle pack are healthy and beautiful in their own way, but we would not like them in our main breeding lines. The cull pack can contain shrimp of any of the following lines:
We cull our shrimp to ensure our main breeding lines remains as pure and high quality as possible and by only selecting the best shrimp to be used for the next seasons breeding!
You will receive 10 randomly caught shrimp from our cull tank. Due to the nature of culling, sometimes this mix is very mixed with a lot of colours, and other time there might be more of a single colour due to recent culling.
Water Parameters
PH Range: 5.8 – 6.8
Temperature Range: 18 – 24°C
GH Range: 4 – 7
KH Range: 0 – 3
TDS: 90 – 160
Kindly remember TDS should only ever be used as an indication when adding minerals to RO-water, and should not be considered a measurement to tank water quality. Kindly ensure to regularly test GH and KH values of tanks to maintain optimal parameters to keep shrimp happy.
Please Note: We try to sell only juvenile shrimp, but based on availability, larger shrimp might be sent sometimes. As such they are caught at random and not sexed. Where we can we try to keep a balanced ratio. If you are not happy with this arrangement, please do not order.
